Salted Brown Butter Crispy Treats

I've been obsessed with sea salt and chocolate for a while now and, in my humble opinion, these are just as divine.  This new take on the old kids' snack is sensational - the usual rice crispy treats usually don't last a day in my house, and these were practically inhaled in minutes.  Beware!  A real diet breaker.  Just ask my husband, Steven.  :)

So I used the tiny marshmallows (they seem to melt faster) and coarse pink Himalayan salt (which I find to be a really salty salt).  I was afraid to burn the butter, so I may not have experienced the optimal "brown."  Nonetheless, still divine.

  1. Oh my...just made these...mine are cooling as I write. They are amazing! This might be a dangerous thing to be able to whip up!!!!
