Vietnamese Lemongrass Pork Chops



















We've been making this dish a lot lately, and I still can't get enough.  It reminds me of our endless summers here in Southeast Asia, and eating outdoors on steamy evenings.

Mark Bittman also makes a nice variation - Lemongrass Pork Patties.

Serve it over steamed rice, glass noodles (with a little ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, nam pla) or on a baguette with lettuce, mayonnaise, sri racha and pickles.
